Jamia Nagar Rent (“we”, “us”, or “the platform”) is a brokerage-free platform that helps tenants find rental homes and helps owners list their properties in Jamia Nagar, Okhla and nearby areas of New Delhi. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following information:

Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We never see or store your Google password.
Listing information — if you list a property, we collect the details you enter: title, rent, deposit, address, map location, amenities, photos, an optional video link, and the owner name and contact number you provide.
Usage data — basic technical information such as your saved favourites, kept to make the site work for you.

2. How we use your information

To let you sign in and identify your own listings and favourites.
To publish the property listings you create so tenants can discover them.
To let signed-in tenants contact property owners directly by phone or WhatsApp — with no broker in between.
To operate, maintain, and improve the platform.

3. Information shared publicly

When you publish a listing, its details — including the property photos, location, and the owner name and contact number you provide — become visible to other users of the platform. Contact numbers are revealed only to users who are signed in. Please do not include information in a listing that you do not want shared.

4. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run the platform:

Google — for secure sign-in (Google OAuth).
Supabase — for our database, authentication, and photo/media storage.
OpenStreetMap — for the map tiles used to display property locations.

These providers process data only to deliver their services to us and under their own privacy terms.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and listing data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your listings or your account at any time using the contact details below.

6. Your choices

You can sign out at any time.
You can request deletion of any listing you created, or of your account entirely.
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us.

7. Children

The platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
